Death's Game (2023)

TVING, a leading streaming platform, is gearing up to release an intriguing new drama titled "Death's Game," also known as "Yi-Jae, Will Die Soon." This highly anticipated series stars the talented duo Park So-Dam and Seo In-Guk and is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.

The narrative of "Death's Game" delves into the life of Choi Yi-Jae, portrayed by Seo In-Guk, a man who finds himself at the crossroads of despair and failure. Faced with overwhelming challenges, Yi-Jae contemplates ending his own life, succumbing to the weight of his perceived failures. However, his decision takes an unexpected turn when Death herself intervenes, deciding to teach him a profound lesson for hastily dismissing the value of his own existence.

In a brilliant casting move, Park So-Dam takes on the role of Death, infusing the character with a cold-hearted demeanor that promises to add layers of complexity to the storyline. Seo In-Guk, on the other hand, steps into the shoes of Yi-Jae, bringing his undeniable talent to breathe life into the character's struggles and transformation.

The essence of "Death's Game" lies in its unique approach to storytelling, blending fantasy elements with the exploration of existential themes. "Death's Game" is helmed by director Ha Byung-Hoon and the screenplay isa collaborative effort by the webtoon's authors Lee Won-Sik and Ggoolchan, alongside Ha Byung-Hoon. This is scheduled to premiere on December 15 and will unfold its captivating storyline over eight episodes.
