Love Song for Illusion (2024)

 "Love Song for Illusion" is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It narrates the heart-fluttering love story and fierce obsession of a Crown Prince with two opposite personalities and an assassin girl who initially seeks to kill him but ends up falling in love with him.

Crown Prince Sajo Hyun is an intellectual character who utilizes his innate artistic sense to work as a fashion designer at a downtown boutique, concealing his identity as the crown prince. He carries a deep emotional wound from his childhood due to his oppressive father, Sajo Seung. Sajo Hyun's alter ego, Ak Hee, is a charming character with a penchant for seduction, cursed to experience extreme pain upon physical contact with others.

Yeon Wol's life takes a tumultuous turn, transitioning from an assassin to a concubine. She is the royal descendant of the fallen Yeon Dynasty and the only daughter of Yeon Poong Hak. Concealing her identity, Yeon Wol assumes the role of the assassin Gye Ra to avenge her family. In an attempt to assassinate the king, she falls into a trap set by an unknown person and wakes up the next day with no memory of her past.

The stellar cast of the drama includes Park Ji Hoon as Sa Jo Hyun and Ak Hee, Hong Ye Ji as Yeon Wol and Kyera, Hwang Hee as Sa Jo Yong, and Ji Woo as Geum Hwa.

The upcoming KBS2 drama, "Love Song for Illusion," has confirmed its release date for January 2 and unveiled a character teaser.
